Claiming CE Hours
Please note that this information is for the SMNP Live Study Group, SMNP Real Deal NP 1-Day Prep, and SMNP Self-Paced Courses. For SMNP specialty NP Qbanks, see this article.
All of our courses now offer CE hours as of September 2022: Additionally, the SMNP Reviews program offers two types of certificates: a Certificate of Completion and a CE Certificate. Each type has specific requirements that participants must meet.
Our Comprehensive 3-course bundle: 17 CE hours
Our Crash course: 7 CE hours
Our In-depth pharm course: 4 CE hours
Our In depth diagnosis course: 6 CE hours
Our LSG: 33 CE hours
Our 1 day prep: 10 CE hours
Our AGPCNP/FNP Question Bank: 10 CE hours
Our PMHNP Self-Paced Review Course: 20 CE hours. To earn a Certificate of Completion, participants must attend both live review classes (Session 1 and Session 2) and complete at least 750 questions from the Primary Care Qbank. Note that practice sets from other Qbanks do not count toward this requirement.
How to claim CE hours:
To access your CE certificate for the qbank, follow these steps:
Log In to Your Account: Use your credentials to access your learning platform.
Navigate to the Certificate Info Section: Click on your profile icon in the upper right corner and select 'See CE Info.'
To claim CE hours for a course you would need to complete and pass each post-test and fill out the survey sent to your email within 24 business hours and before your course expires. Upon passing the posttest with a score of 70% or greater on any attempt, you will receive an email within 24 hours containing a link to the course survey! The post-tests can be found after each course under the resources tab. Please ensure that you complete the mandatory survey, which will be emailed to you within 24 hours of passing the post-test. Filling out this survey is necessary to submit your name and earn the certificate. Please note that certificates cannot be backdated due to AANP/ANCC regulations. Additionally, if you need to retake a live session to meet the certificate requirements, you are not required to redo the modules and tests if they have already been completed. You only need to attend the outstanding live session (e.g., Live Session 2).
Please check your spam if you haven’t received this! If your certificate is missing, log into your account to check the 'See CE Info' section for status. Confirm if the survey was completed before the course expired. If you miss the deadline for the post-course survey, unfortunately, certificates cannot be backdated. Ensure timely completion to avoid issues.
