Managing Your Subscription: Monthly payments are automatically charged to the credit or debit card listed on file.
To change your card information:
Log in to your account at blueprintprep.com or npreviews.com in the upper right hand corner
Click on My Subscriptions
Then click Edit on the subscription to change the payment method with the new credit card information. This step is critical as updating the Payment Method itself will not update the subscription.
Once the correct payment method is attached, the system will automatically retry the payment within 12 to 24 hours of the initial failure. It will attempt to charge up to three times before canceling the subscription.
If you are unable to locate the 'My Subscriptions' section, try navigating through the 'Account Settings' tab in your account dashboard. This alternative route may help you access the subscription management options.
Please be sure to update all information before the next installment due date.
Disclaimer: If you update your payment method on a subscription after a failed payment, the system will automatically retry the payment within 24 hours. Please note, we do not have the ability to manually initiate a retry for subscription payments. Additionally, the system may extend temporary access overnight to ensure uninterrupted service while processing the renewal. If the renewal does not process as expected, verify that your payment method is correctly updated and retry the steps above.
Retry Timelines
The system typically retries a failed payment within 12 to 24 hours of the initial failure. It will attempt to charge up to three times before canceling the subscription. During this period, users should not attempt to manually renew their subscription, as this could result in duplicate charges.
Best Practices for Users
To ensure a smooth renewal process:
Keep your payment method up-to-date and ensure it has sufficient funds.
Avoid manually renewing your subscription during the retry period to prevent duplicate charges.
Monitor your subscription status and contact support if issues persist after the retry attempts.
Ensure you update the payment method on your existing subscription rather than creating a new one, to avoid duplicate subscriptions and charges.
Subscription Visibility Issues
Why am I not seeing my new subscription in my account?
If your new subscription is not visible in your account, ensure you are logged into the correct account. Subscriptions are tied to specific email addresses, so double-check that you are using the email address associated with the subscription. If you have multiple accounts, log out and log back in with the correct credentials.
Subscription Renewal Policies
Why was I charged a renewal fee when I thought I purchased a one-time 1-month bundle?
All subscriptions are set up as monthly renewing plans unless explicitly canceled. At checkout, it is clearly stated that the purchase is for a recurring subscription. Additionally, renewal reminder emails are sent three days before each renewal to help you manage your subscription. To avoid future charges, ensure you cancel your subscription before the renewal date.
Why was I charged again for my subscription without realizing it would renew?
Subscriptions are designed to auto-renew every 30 days unless canceled. This information is disclosed during the checkout process and on the purchase page. If you no longer need the subscription, you must cancel it to stop future charges.
Why was I charged for a full month when only a short extension appeared on my account?
A 30-day extension is processed as a monthly subscription that auto-renews every 30 days. This can result in a full monthly charge even if a brief courtesy extension was granted. If the expiration date does not appear updated, try logging out and back in or checking in a fresh browser to see the correct date.
